Description

The Long Way Home, softback campaign adventure for Marc Miller’s Traveller (BITS / CORE) – SIGNED BY ANDY LILLY, by David Burden and Andy Lilly, with foreword by Marc Miller

“The mission…

…a covert reconnaissance deep into uncharted territory beyond the borders of the new Sylean empire.

The adventure…

…begins almost as soon as the survey team steps aboard its ship. “Expect the unexpected” is a favourite Corp phrase. The team are just about to find out just how true that can be…

Included in this thrilling campaign adventure are:

  • Nine linked scenarios to challenge any player’s determination, wits, imagination and courage.
  • Full deck plans and technical data on the Extended Duration Survey class Sout Ship Lintula Sunrise.
  • The adventures take the players to alien worlds where they must battle hostile environments while trying to stay alive in potentially hostile cultures.
  • Maps and star system data for 50 worlds – ready for players to explore and, perhaps, claim on behalf of the Sylean Empire!
  • Detailed world data sheets for the main adventure worlds, including planetary maps and star system diagrams.
  • Numerous maps and diagrams of the adventure settings to aid the referee in running the adventure with the minimum of preparation required.”

The best Traveller campaign you’ve probably never heard of – even BITS’ own web page doesn’t mention it! The Long Way Home was produced in a short print run by British Isles Traveller Support in 1996. Marc Miller thought it was so good that his Imperium Games decided to adopt the campaign and republish it in the US as Adventure One ‘Long Way Home’ and Adventure Two ‘Gateway’. This original edition is very rare.
